Heterotopic pregnancy is defined as the simultaneous occurrence of extra-uterine and intrauterine pregnancy. It is an increasingly common complication of assisted reproductive technology. We present a case of spontaneous heterotopic pregnancy. Laparoscopic left salpingectomy was performed for the left tubal pregnancy while the intra-uterine pregnancy continued and ended up in a live birth by caesarean delivery at term.
